Puddle Stomping

Sun Apr 22, 2007, 10:43 AM
Yay for sloughs!!! Friday, me and *Gothhana decided that it would be a good day for puddle stomping. In other words, we both put our bathing suits on, and went walking around in mud of my garden barefoot. Then, decided it might be nice to walk in the slough, well, there's still snow on the ground, and the ice JUST came off the sloughs around my house. In other words, it was frickin freezing. Well, I cannot enter a body of water, no matter how cold it is, without getting wet at least up to my neck, so, both me and *Gothhana decided to take the plunge, up to our necks, in spring run-off. Spring run-off in April, bring a new meaning to cold. Think of a mountain stream temperature and apply it to a small pond in the middle of an acreage. Needless to say, it was so cold, it actually hurt. Either way, it was a good stress relieer. So, next time you feel like you're gonna snap, go dive in your neighbors ditch!!!

No matter how much Jell-O you put in a swimming pool you still can't walk on water
